With a background in training, coaching and teaching communications, a MSc in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs and a grown up family, it is many years since I decided to put my words into action and do the things I had been teaching others to do.

Working in a diverse range of sectors and organisations of all sizes has given me broad experience in internal and external communications including communications for organisational change, crisis communications, reputation management and developing brand image and identity.

Some examples of areas I have worked in include:

communications for B2B in the oil and gas industry; communication and engagement in NHS; marketing, PR and business development in the retail and hospitality sectors, managing reputation and brand development in education; communicating diversity in farming; advising start-ups and supporting charity organisations with policy, strategy and tactics…..

…and of course most of the projects in which I have been involved have included content creation, website editorial, social media, press releases and events…

I am a keen amateur photographer and have been known to take some great shots. For me photography is a labour of love.

Based in the heart of Lincolnshire, I class myself as a Lincolnshire lass although I have lived and worked in many parts of the UK and still travel widely. I love the idea of working locally and supporting local businesses and organisations.
